About Me

My photo
Yardley, Pennsylvania
When I was 23 I got my first job working in newspapers as a page designer. It didn't pay much but that was ok because I got to do what I loved, which was using words and photographs to tell stories of people's lives. In the end, I'm hoping to do the same with this blog, while at the same time, grow as a photographer, writer, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Thanks for looking.

The Party Was Jumping!

Wedding guests watch cousins of the bride put on an epic dance show during Sarah and Mark Ferrante's wedding at The Manor House in Pierrepont, New York on Saturday, May 18, 2013.

Wow! Mark and Sarah couldn't have asked for a nicer day to get hitched. And just like the weather the wedding was awesome too. Great couple, great ceremony, great venue and great guests. One of my favorite moments of the day came when Sarah's cousins from Italy helped get the reception bumping with a sweet hip hop dance routine they put on for the bride and groom. These guys were awesome. Busting out back flips and all kinds of other moves. Congratulations Mark and Sarah, it was an honor to help document your big day! I wish you guys all the best in your new life together as husband and wife.

I can't thank Amy and Guy at  Keech Photography enough for giving me the opportunity to shoot and assist with you guys. It was a blast! Already looking forward to my next trip!

Bombs Away

New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano launches a home run during the third inning of a game against the Houston Astros at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

The Yankees sure have had there share of obstacles early this season. Losing what seems like 3/4 of their team to the disabled list. Despite the injuries, the team has still found a way to play solid baseball. They've been getting contributions from a lot of the players who are filling in the injury gaps as well as from their star second baseman Robinson Cano. Wednesday's game was no exception with Cano homering in the third and bench player Ben Francisco, pictured below, also driving one out of the park.
