When I was 23 I got my first job working in newspapers as a page designer. It didn't pay much but that was ok because I got to do what I loved, which was using words and photographs to tell stories of people's lives. In the end, I'm hoping to do the same with this blog, while at the same time, grow as a photographer, writer, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Thanks for looking.

Off and Running

Varsity boys runners take off during the start of the PTXC 5 Cross Country Invitational at Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 7, 2013.

I took a trip up to Kutztown University on Saturday to watch the Severna Park High School kick off their cross country season. The team won a state championship in Maryland last season and got things off to a nice start this year with a second-place finish in the invitational.
