| My wife Taren watches the sun set over the Caribbean Sea while vacationing in Aruba on Wednesday, November 6, 2014. A couple weeks ago Taren and I ran our first half marathon. We knew the training and the race would be fun but tough -- and they were. So we decided after registering for the race we would reward ourselves with a trip to Aruba. It was 40 degrees and really windy the day of our race. I think knowing that the next day we'd be chilling on a nice warm beach really helped both of us get through it. If you ever get the chance, check out Aruba as it's pretty great. Sitting here writing this now as winter begins to make an early start here in Yardley I'm wishing we were still there! |

- When I was 23 I got my first job working in newspapers as a page designer. It didn't pay much but that was ok because I got to do what I loved, which was using words and photographs to tell stories of people's lives.
