About Me

When I was 23 I got my first job working in newspapers as a page designer. It didn't pay much but that was ok because I got to do what I loved, which was using words and photographs to tell stories of people's lives. In the end, I'm hoping to do the same with this blog, while at the same time, grow as a photographer, writer, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Thanks for looking.

Fired Up

New York Yankees relief pitcher Adam Warren celebrates after striking out Oakland Athletics left fielder Yoenis Cespedes to get out of an eighth-inning jam at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on Thursday, June 5, 2014.

Adam Warren found himself in a tight spot during Thursday's game when back to back Oakland hitters singled to put two on with no outs. As the inning progressed Warren began to work his way out of trouble with some help from right fielder Ichiro Suzuki, who made a diving catch. With two outs Warren faced Yoenis Cespedes with runners on second and third. I stayed on Warren hoping he'd react big if he got Cespedes out. Glad I did as this is probably my favorite shot of the game.
