About Me

My photo
Yardley, Pennsylvania
When I was 23 I got my first job working in newspapers as a page designer. It didn't pay much but that was ok because I got to do what I loved, which was using words and photographs to tell stories of people's lives. In the end, I'm hoping to do the same with this blog, while at the same time, grow as a photographer, writer, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Thanks for looking.

Coming Up Short

New York Mets short stop Ruben Tejada pictured during a game against the San Diego Padres at Citi Field in Queens, New York on Thursday, April 4, 2013.

I jumped on the 7 train to cover another game at Citi Field today for The Wall Street Journal. Unfortunately there was not nearly as much offense as the first two games of the series. That said it was still a really fun time out there. The game got off to an interesting start when members of Cirque du Soleil through out the first pitch. From there though, the game was a pitcher's duel with the Mets Dillon Gee taking a tough loss.
