About Me

My photo
Yardley, Pennsylvania
When I was 23 I got my first job working in newspapers as a page designer. It didn't pay much but that was ok because I got to do what I loved, which was using words and photographs to tell stories of people's lives. In the end, I'm hoping to do the same with this blog, while at the same time, grow as a photographer, writer, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Thanks for looking.

The Graduate!

My wife Taren (center) and her family pose for a photo at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey on Thursday, June 20, 2013 after Taren's graduation from her Dietetic Internship.

On Thursday, my wife Taren completed her dietetic internship. Over the course of the last year, she rotated into dozens of positions at hospitals, nursing homes and other health care facilities, learning from Registered Diettitians. It's been a long road as she started classes at Montclair State in 2009, left her first career in 2010 to hit the books full time, graduated with her degree last spring and knocked out the internship this year. The fam also braved the trip up the New Jersey Turnpike from South Jersey so we could all be there for her. It was a really nice night celebrating her awesome accomplishment with our family. I'm so proud of you wife!
