About Me

My photo
Yardley, Pennsylvania
When I was 23 I got my first job working in newspapers as a page designer. It didn't pay much but that was ok because I got to do what I loved, which was using words and photographs to tell stories of people's lives. In the end, I'm hoping to do the same with this blog, while at the same time, grow as a photographer, writer, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Thanks for looking.

On The Run

High school runners compete in the boys 4x200 meter relay during the New Balance Games at the Armory in New York City on Saturday, January 25, 2014.

My friend Paul and I made our annual trip to the Armory to watch and photograph some indoor track and field last Saturday. I decided to go light -- just brought the 7D and 17-40 F4. The cool thing about shooting at the Armory is that you can get right up on the banked track. At times it feels like the athletes are going to run right over you as they hit the turn.

Greg and Bob

Greg Kenney poses for a portrait in Yardley, Pennsylvania on Saturday, January 18, 2014. Below, Bob Breslawski also poses for a portrait in Yardley.

A couple of old friends took a trip down from Rochester, N.Y. this weekend to celebrate an old man's birthday. During their stay I convinced them to help me work on my portraits. I've known Greg and Bob my whole life. Living six hours away it's not easy to get together and hang out these days. I really had a great time this weekend guys. Thanks for coming down and thanks for letting me take your portraits. Love you guys.
